The city itself deserves a couple of days break with a large selection of restaurants, shops, and other attractions. The Brisbane River flows through the city center and along the riverbank are parks and restaurants. In the pleasant and sunny climate, it is a natural choice to enjoy lunch or dinner in the open air.

Brisbane has a subtropical climate and it is usually warm all year round. In summer (December to February) the average temperature is around 30 degrees. At the same time, it is in the summer that the area has the most rain, which can also mean storms and floods.
